My 3-year old (very smart with computers) got onto it and did something so now when it boots up it stops at a screen that says: "diskette drive 0 seek failure error", than boots to Windows after staying at that screen for a couple minutes. It might have something to do with taking out the floppy drive (never used it and the light always came on--basically a waste of space), but I took it out a month or so ago. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

well...it definitely is looking for your floppy. Try going into your bios and disabling the floppy drive.

Disable floppy seek in BIOS at system boot press either esc F1 or delete key or what ever key your BIOS displays usualy page one of BIOS
Open control panel/hardware/device manger if floppy drive there right click on it and disable windows will not asign the drive then so you will not get a seek error in windows

Your bios was probably set to check for a floppy and now that you have removed it its showing the error. You can go into the bios and disable it or just leave it show the error.

Check the boot order in the BIOS. Make sure you are booting to the HDD first.
