Yes, you can definitely bring them on an airplane with you. One reason is that they will not be considered weapons. Another reason is that they are not metal. When you get to the metal detector, you don't even need to take the items out. They just want to scan your luggage for any metal items, in case you are planning to hijack a plane, but seeing as how lousy American airport security is, I don't think they would do anything about it if you WERE a terrorist. LOL!!
