Love.

Hate and Love are not really opposites.....There is not a thin line....This is the nature of duality....It is a concept we find it very hard to comprehend as our minds operate in a dualistic mentality. Remember this however true love has no opposite....It is rooted in being and all love is the love of God...
Hate however is a human emotion and all human emotions are caused by cravings and delusions that tell the EGO that resistance to what is will bring it happiness or an aversion will bring it out of unhappiness. This is delusional thinking.
Any identification with an emotion will eventually bring suffering. True peace is freedom from emotions and thinking ... transcendence from these emotions as a substitute for your natural state is possible ....you can attain oneness with being (or God as many would call it!)

Thin line between love and hate is Good and Evil.
Love is God and Evil is Satan. No Line at all. Opposites.
As like as far from East is to West. They Never meet.

There's a thin line between hate and selfish (possessive) love, since both are ego-centered, i e centered on what makes me and my ego happy. Unselfish love, on the other hand, is something entirely different. Love that focuses on other people's wellbeing is not near to hate, neither to possessive love.

It's a hindsight event...
after the fact...

when you realize...you let your partner out once a month because you loved them...that they were sleeping around was because they hated you.

Or

Your partner was psychotic about going out...slept around because you were so possessive and hateful - it was the only way to break away...

so a year later...you realize one of two things...
you hated that person
or
you loved them so dearly...and now you realize it's okay to move on.

Very thin, as they are both strong powrful, emotions,
sometimes we think about someone we "hate" or dis-
like, as much as we think about someone we love,
you want to be with them, BUT for very different
reasons.
