yes you are able to transfer MP3 files onto the phone. The phone comes with a extendable SD memory, therefore depending on the size (megabytes) of SD card you buy it will deptermin the amount of songs/mp3 files you will be able to save on it. Mp3 files varie in megabytes depending on the songs lenght and espacially on its quality.
