because for some people,they have to put people's low selfesteem down to make theirs go up

The first three answers are good ones. Also, it is human nature and learned as a child. I satirize some of the stupid, goofy things we humans are preoccupied with and it comes off as picking on someone because, of course, we rarely know the ages of people asking the questions. I like to make fun of our priorities as clearly, if we are over 16, we need to realize that our own view of ourselves is rather overrated given the state of things. At least do it with humor, I say. Now nitpicking, that's a different item. Love to lay into those people. Don't you?

Because as a rule everyone on this earth is born mean and it is up to their parents to teach them to be nice. If they don't learn this growing up then as adults they will still pick on the weaker of the species. Which is why if you don't raise your children with the love of God then they will end up staying mean and hateful the way they were born.

Some people get a kick out of hurting other peoples feelings. It makes them feel like they have some sort of control. Or it may be a way that they draw attention away from their own faults.

1) Insecure about themselves & Jelous about your self.
2) They maybe mentally disterbed people.
3) They have to ignored by normal people like you.

if they do it in front of YOU...i would just say politely,,"that's not very nice....or why would you say that about that person? she seems nice." Picking on people in my book is ABUSE IF it is done to someone face...i would "let him go"...Probably stems from insecurity!!!
