Are you talking about the oil warning light or the change oil maintenance light?
If it is the warning light----
1) Excess wear due to abuse or high mileage
2) Wrong oil viscosity.
3) Wrong oil filter (incorrect bypass valve calibration)
4) Failing oil pump
It will take a bit of diagnostics to identify. A Reputable repair shop should be able to do this for < $75.00
If it is the maintenance light, it has to be reset at the interval when it is changed. This can usually be done on the car, with a procedure outlined in the owner's manual. Some cars require specialized equipment to reset the light (MBZ< Volvo, etc.).

Sounds like a either a sensor problem, a very small gap in a gasket somewhere (cause the loss of oil pressure), a non-working oil pump, or a bad ground coming from either the oil electrical sender such as the sensor or fuse or the electrical system on the oil pump (depending on what car you have). Before you spend an *** load of money, check all the fuses and electrical, a simple fix might do it.

You have had WHAT changed twice? Changing oil by the owner's manual is dollarsmart. Check the oil transmitter by temporarily installing a mechanical oil pressure guage or have your mechanic do it (friends are better. They charge less). If the pressure is still low, probably at idle RPM, examine and/or replace the oil pump. The screen could be clogged.

How long ago did u have it changed? When your light comes on it means your fluid is low. Unless u have a short in your electric wires that lead to your oil light. Most likely its low..You need to change your oil at least every 3,000 miles.I put my miles to 0 everytime I change my oil this way I know when 3'000 arrive...Good luck

it depends on what type of vehicle you have, some cars, trucks, and suvs need to be reset, the place where you gotten the oil change be able to do that for you. since you change the oil there. if you did it yourself check the owner manual for the remedy.
