It's Dave's birthday on the 13th of Spetember and I haven't got a clue what to get! Any ideas on any surprises or something original? He will be 46 and may I add that he doesn't drink or smoke.

My thought could be to rearrange an intimate dinner for you 2 and then after dinner as an marvelous present you could the two make him a scrap e book of his 40 years of existence and modern-day it to him. Im particular you may get a good number of photos from friends and relatives etc or you may desire to turn those photos right into a slide tutor in case you have the kit to attain this. He will constantly remember approximately some thing like that. Plus you may desire to furnish a working fact over each and each slide or interior the scrap e book you write a humorous caption decrease than each and each image. in simple terms remember, even though you do, as long as you're there, i'm particular he will have an excellent time :) i'm even gonna use my own thought for my considerable different's fortieth, yet I have been given 10 years yet! enable us to all understand what you compromise directly to attain this as that it's going to supply something individuals some notion :)

A blast from the past, pictures on a DVD with love songs, they are easy to make. If he is into sports, some tickets or collectables.
Plan something romantic, but that he would be totally into! Cook his favorite dinner and buy him some Cd's he would love. I wish you would tell us more about him we don't know what he is into!
What is the thing he most values and why? That should help you decide! I think in general treating him wonderful and being extremely thoughtful into his likes it the best bet! Good luck!

Could take him for a romantic meal then a night time ride on the London eye...it's spectacular at night. Or you could arrange a racing day or a flying lesson if you want it to be just for him. A day out just for the 2 of you with a suprise night away in a hotel would be a great birthday prezzie. Guess you know him best...take your pick...Hope he has a great time xx

I would rent a room for the night. Decorate it with rose pedals, and heart shaped candles al around the room. Den the lights and bring him in blindfolded. Cook his favorite dinner and have it warming in the microwave. Take him the bathroom and give him a nice bath. Have dinner and present him with the coupon book. once dinne is over take him to the TV and watch his favorite movie on DVD. And then at the end of the night present him with an outfit with shoes to match and season tickets to the Heat basketball games.

What does he do? What has he never done?

A drive in a Ferrrari, round a race-track, a flying lesson, helicopter lesson, a suprise weekend in Paris, better yet Brussels. A lovely new watch, a portfolio of you, specially photographed as a Hollywood screen-siren.

get something that you haven't got him before as a present but of course he'll like. It doesn't need to be big but surprises. Nice underwear?? Holiday? Flying Experience? It depends on what he's into.

Oh, please... does he like wine? See if there are any winemaker dinners coming about in your area by local vineyards/wineries. Or perhaps a class about winemaking that he might enjoy.

Does he like golf? Try a golf weekend at a nearby resort.

Does he like videogames? Try dinner at a Dave and Busters (check their web site to see if there's one near you.)

Nothing but sex/romance? Take him for an overnight at a bed and breakfast or inn not too far away...

Does he like to cook? Try a cooking class, just seek them out on the internet.

Concerts, plays, recitals... just figure out what it is that he likes the most and gear it toward that. I'm pretty good at this so if you want to offlist me with more details about him personally, I'm happy to help :)

Just a thought? Men love Medieval Times. It's dinner, eaten with your hands, served by wenches, and you watch jousting while you eat. I know it's for children too... but men just LOVE it and it's fun for moms too :) (it appeals to their primitive side - lol)

Check out somewhere like Red Letter Days on the web. They have driving days etc. Or would he like to be a zoo-keeper for a day? Thought not.

If you would have given us more insight as to his interests then maybe you could get a variety of answers. Hookers, I don't think would be welcome but gift certificates to a nice restaurant, outdoor stores, Best Buy, or Circuit City, Or cook him his favorite meal and model a new piece of lingerie for him with take off service.

Maybe a gift certificate for free shooting at a shooting range, a gift certificate for Cabelas(I hear it's all the rave and a man's dream as it's the largest mens sporting store in the US).
