I recieved a dollar with a letter from the Salute American Heroes (SAH) org signed by Mary Jean Eisenhower asking for donations. Is it a good org for the purpose? Are there better that give a larger portion of the donation to the cause?

I've never heard of Salute American Heroes, but I've given to the Paralyzed Veterans of America for a long time and know they are a reputable charity and most of the money collected does go directly to help the veterans. Also, they are very good about acknowledging your donations personally if that matters.
