Great book! I picked it up at an airport while travelling and enjoyed it so much that I reached the end before reaching home ;) What I've heard said on it is that the present ciphers are way beyond the "64-bit" cited in the book, but that's a minor criticism .... Digital Fortress would make a stunning cyber-thriller film! Enjoy!

Digital Fortress is not his best work, i think its his worst. Still worth a read but. it's just that its pretty predictable and you can anticipate everything thats going to happen including the "twists".

I started it after having read DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons, and I just couldn't get through it. Maybe it gets better but I got halfway through and was bored to tears. Definately not like the two above if that's what you were expecting.

Spoiler alert! If you know anything about computer networks you'll find the ending ridiculous. I liked the story and the characters initially, but then found that he went for the obvious in the end. Made for basic cable TV.

Good airport pulp though...

Great Book. It is not as good as his other stuff, but it is worth the time to read it. It is pretty bizarre, but a lot of fun.
