pine trees need to be pruned in the winter mounths flowering trees in the early spring .
when pruning a tree make your cuts back to something green ( another branch or a bud ) you dont want to leave stubs it will harm the tree and the rule of thumb is not to take more than 30 % of the green form the tree or you will stress the tree
when prining with a saw make an under cut and then your upper cut so you dont rip the tree

you can use a chainsaw from the walmart that plugs in, you can then cut a tree, you can cut any tree
