You don't do everything wrong, and I can prove it. You set out to write your Yahoo! question using no correctly-spelled profanity, and you succeeded!

So, stop exaggerating the bad stuff, because that will only make you feel worse. Take a look around -- there are certainly lots of things you do well. At times like these, when it seems clear to me that you're feeling particularly unhappy with yourself about a mistake you have made, it's especially important to count your blessings and review your successes.

Get out a notebook or a blank piece of paper, and list 10 things you have accomplished, of which you are proud. These don't have to be things you did perfectly, but they should be things you did well enough to count them as successes. It may sound impossible, but once you start, you'll see that you can list 10 things -- and more. Then, put your list where you can find it.

Every time you feel upset at yourself, like you do now, give yourself a few minutes of time to feel sorry about it, and then make yourself think how you could have done better in the future. If you find yourself still feeling bad, get out your list, and force yourself to add one more good thing to it. Re-read the whole list again, and then you will definitely feel better.

sounds like you need to explore this topic further. but, generally speaking, try to stick to things you KNOW you are good at and leave the rest to the pros.
