I don't think you should make her do anything. I do think you should suggest that maybe the two of you start first by sharing some of the duties around the home. It is nice to work together on everything and then maybe she will say ok... I can do this on my own. Another idea maybe to ask her why she hasn't done anything lately. Maybe she feels like she is always doing everything and it is time for a little break.

You should pick up the slack until things are back to "normal", then continue to pitch in and do the work. Women sometimes feel like the maid instead of a wife, and that can cause a "house cleaning strike". At least until you validate her as important.

Does she work too? If you both work then you should share the housework. Its not all the woman's responsibility. If she is a stay-at-home mom/wife then talk to her about it.

Start paying her by the job or the hour. Maybe you can trade for bedroom activities. My Ex-wife used to clean the house late at night while I was trying to sleep. She threatened to move out and that there was nothing I could do to stop her. So, I helped her move out. They say the thirds the charm but, I think it's the divorce. Have a nice day!

Maybe that's why she isn't doing it anymore, because you try to make her do it. Maybe she feels like nothing but a maid and needs to feel a little more appreciated. I'm not trying to be a smart aleck here, but it could be that simple. We really do get tired of having men assume we are there for nothing but making them comfortable and happy.
Maybe she's depressed. When someone changes their habits abruptly or just quits caring how they look, how their home looks, etc. it can be due to major depression. Instead of trying to make her clean your home, try asking her if she's okay, if she's feeling down, or if she need to talk about anything. You really will catch more flies with honey on this one.

If she went from doing these things to doing nothig she is probably depressed.Ask her what she needs to get her interested in the house again.Maybe try buying something new for the house each week for a couple of months.Let her pick it out.
If this does not motivate her then disconnect the internet and cable for a little bit.Maybe you'll have a clean house.

Lately I've had to resort to using the (shock collar) .The traditional methods have ceased to work. I know it seems a bit inhumane ,but it doesn't leave any marks!

You can't, you have to do it yourself and just do the best you can. I 've been doing laundry, complete cleaning of the house including bathroom for the last 12 years. I love doing it. They say " do it yourself" if you want to do it right.

You can't make your wife do anything. Maybe she is depressed because your not helping her do the chores. If the messiness bothers you so much, why don't you clean up?
