Try adding garden lime. Lime will sweeten a lawn that is too acidic and has moss growing so the grass can grow better. I however put vinegar on my walkway to encourage the moss to grow. I like the look.

aussie answer is best if you really want to do this. The whole point of the brick walkway is this moss. Most gardeners would kill to get it to grow. So, be sure before you pressure wash. Aussie is due best answer.

the moss is obviously growing there because it is damp and shady. to kill it off scrub it off with a stiff brush or broom with hot water into which you have put some kerosene cut back any trees, bushes which cause the area to be shady .strong sunlight will keep the area clear of moss
