Same as last year, not make the playoffs!!!! Go Leafs Go!!!! Not since 1967. Do you realize we hadn't even landed on the moon the last time the Leafs won the cup.

I think they are going to find it tough to finish better than 4th, and I think they will miss the playoffs by a wider margin than 04-05.. Unless J.S.Aubin can play an entire season like his 11 starts for Toronto.. then they may squeak into the playoffs in the 7th or 8th slot.. Problem is I don't think Aubin can start 50 games.. And the Leafs may have a hard time reaching 500
After goaltending, next issue will be scoring.. Sundin, who's best days are long behind him, led the team with 31 goals, I think he will be hard pressed to reach 30 this up coming season.. Tucker and Ponikoravsky were the only other players to top 20 goals.. The Leafs did get a little tougher on the blue line with Kubina and Gill.. But the Leafs lost some role players/locker room guys and will be leaning on alot of unproven talent like Pohl, Wellwood and Stajan.. Not exactly household names in the NHL..

Same as every year-if they make the playoffs, they may win a round and the Make Belief fans will wet themselves and yet once again at the end another team will be hoisting the Cup.

They should at least be in the playoffs but the recent hockey news magazine predicts that they will finish in 10th or so in there conference

i hope the playoffs but rebuilding year so must wait and see i have been a leaf fan for 60 yrs.so lets hope.
