i like this guy ...and he seem like he likes me but he used to out with one of my friends about 6 years ago...but for 2 years and i told her that i like him and she want me to ask him out ...but i feel really bad just that fact that i like him...and i have so much respect for her...she is like my older sister...and i don't really know if she is saying that just to see me happy or if she is really over him and she doesn't care...and i have never went out any guy that went out with one of my girls...and it feels i like i am disrespecting her...can u guys help me out ?...i don't know what to do...

There's a rule of thumb that u shoiuld never date your friend's crush or her ex. Even if she's giving you her blessing, she might end up resenting u later. I would try to get over him....is it really worth it to lose someone who's just like your sister over some guy?

jsut ask ur friend if she is really over him, which she should be if she dated him but 6 years ago, the ask her if shes really ok with u goin out with him, which once again she should be, then just go out with him, if she's really just like a sis 2 u then she should be happy for u either way
