I'm going to clean the whole house.
Should I begin where it's the dirtiest? Or the cleanest area? Is it better to start in the back of the house and move forward toward the door? Or start at the door and move to the back of the house? Should I save the porch for another day?

Any advice would be helpful here.

Forget saving the porch for another day; ring a girlfriend, jump in the car and go for a coffee and some retail therapy. The chores will be there for you later.

I clean houses for a living about 20-25 houses a week. Here is a list on how we do are spring cleans. 1. Start upstairs if its 2 floors ..use a high duster and high dust every room including ceiling fans inside of windows, bathroom fans,etc.2..Get a bucket of murphys and wipe all baseboards, doors, light switches ,window sills.etc..3..wipe all mirrors ,glass pictures, windows,tv screens with window clean.4, If there are any bathrooms clean them next including the floors,5,dust all rooms with a rag with enddust sprayed on it.6, Finally vac furthest room first and work you way to the stairs.Do the same down stairs .Except after using the murphys water clean the kitchen but make sure you wash the cupboards with the murphys, after your done with the kitchen start back at step 3..Always start from the room furthest from the front of the house..If you follow these steps your house will look great and its not as bad as it seems really..Take a couple days if you have to..Make sure you complete each step in all rooms before starting next step.example when your high dusting make sure all rooms are high duster before start the murphys..

Start with the dirtiest. Then when that room is finished you have a real sense of accomplishment. If you get to tired, save the porch for another day

you need to start with the dirtiest first, that way if you get totally pooped after you finish that room, you still did a pretty good job and got alot done. I suggest cleaning the kitchen or the bathroom first, cause those tend to be the dirtiest parts of the house.

Good luck!

lol, this is an odd question. umm start at the back door and then move toward the front door, like one end of the house to another, its very simple. and yes i think you should have the porch for another day, that way you can focus on the house for today. toodles!

I clean the whole house once a week, and I find it's easiest to do the rooms that require the most first, such as the bathrooms and kitchens, then the living room and dinning room, then the bedrooms.

i always start with the kitchen, this seems to take the longest. save the porch for another day if you are tired after finishing the house.

Start where it's most important to you and where most people will see. If you poop out, it'll be somewhere that can probably wait.
