I've been listening to "The New York Dolls" lately and I like that kind of sound very much. I'd like to get recommendations on other glam bands.

the new york dolls are great, eh?!!! I really enjoy them. Some others that I really really like include:
T.Rex
Velvet Underground
Roxy Music
David Bowie
Gary Glitter (although he is icky)
Queen is considered glam

what Genre is that? i have never even heard of them before and i live 20 minutes from the NY state line in PA lol. get back at me post addtional details and i can give you more bands..i'm like a music goddess trust me.
