Do you have a dishwasher? Tear off as much as you can, then stick them in the dishwasher......this'll sterilize them and remove the remaining paper & glue.

Have fun

Shortening or cooking oil will dissolve the glue from labels. Just peel as much paper off as comes easily then cover what's left with the grease or oil and wait a few minutes. The glue will come off but your bottle will need to be washed.

There are two different stickers.
1. Water treatment - Take the basket with water. you can put bottles into the basket. keep 24 hrs and it can be easily be removed.
some time only top part will go, then you can use any solvent like methanol.

Soak the bottles in hot, soapy water for about an hour sometimes less. It can be scraped off with your fingers or a plastic spatula.

The glue that holds the label is usually water based. If you take the bottles and sock them in warm water, the labels and glue should come off.

Get a product called Goo Gone. It works like magic!!
Goo Gone safely removes: gum · tar · crayon · fresh paint · tree sap · oil and grease · blood · ink · asphalt · scuff marks · tape and tape residue · makeup, lipstick and mascara · adhesives · candle wax · kitchen grease · shoe polish · soap scum · bumper stickers · duct tape · bicycle chain grease

If you'll heat it with a hair drier it will peal off without leaving any residue. but if you've already tried some of the other suggestions it won't work. needs to by dry and intact.

Goo Gone on a washcloth -- it'll be the fastest.

You might see if you can get the orange smelling one -- seems to be the least pungent :)

Hope this helps!
