As a society we need to change because all these behaviors are learned from parents. If parent of the children took this more seriously insteed of "they're just children" we would prevent a lot of hurt feelings. We have no idea of the damage we do to and contribute to in children that grow up to be adults in our society and if you look at the incidents at our schools with shootings and violent backlash. We need to change as a society to prevent worse things from happening. This teasing and unaccepting behavior should be looked down upon, forbidden and simply be unacceptable. People should feel shame for making other feel bad for being different. What a boring world we'd have if we were all the same, diversity is beautiful.

Help your daughter by helping her find a place in school where she fits in, a club or something like that. Allow her to invite a friend over to play and have sleepovers. All she needs is one good friend and she'll be okay, but she needs somebody her age to play and be friends with.

People have always been cruel to people who are different. I think the teachers and parents should try to teach kids how to respect each other. It really should start at home first. I personally think people with less money and good parents are closer to God. I think you are right they need some sensitivity training. Money and nice things don't make you a better person and these kids need to realize the money they have came from their parents and that they didn't earn it.

This is a problem that is ongoing. . When my son got to middle school, the bullying began. He began to get bad grades and low esteem becuz of what he was going thru each day at school. We couldnt get any help from the staff so I eventually had to take him out and put him in a private school. Its sad to see how many kids are dropping out these days due to bullying. Our country needs to get control of this problem. The staff needs to get more involved and pay closer attention to our children. So many kids are unhappy becuz of what mean kids are doing to them. Even the suicide rate has gone up, becuz of bullying. Its so sad.

Really they are just jealouse (typo). They take out their frustration like that. These generations keep getting mest up. You might want to concider private school and making her even smarter and have her get a super good job like most successfull people do.
