I came back from a holiday, and already on holiday I had the feeling my best friend who was watching my animals and house left and just barely did the nescesary. She denies it, but although I haven't been there, I have enough reason to believe she was indeed not there, e.g my house smelled like "unfresh"(don't know the word) hotlips the pig was without water, my one dog's bowl was bend, and she was scared if I asked her to come, two windows were cleaned the rest was still the same, she was gone when I got home, When asking her straight forward she said that my findings were weird. untrue and I owed her boyfriend money for gas (I already paid 300 euro's for 2 weeks) Also she and for some reason I think her mom too went trough all my stuff, and she didn't even react mad when I suggested that. She keeps far away from me as possible, but I want to find out if i'm right or not.... Advice please

it sounds to me like she did not do what you asked her to do and you don't owe them a thing i think they owe you for not taking care of your pets or home the way they should of and i think like you do the mother probably went threw you belongings. stay away from you just makes her look more guilty

Something similar happened to me many years ago when I went on holiday, and let my friend and her partner stay at my house while she was having a miscarriage. I got back to find that not only had they Left my house in a terrible state they had also stolen some jewellery from me too. The jewellery wasn't valuable in the financial sense, but it meant the world to me because it was my Nan's.

I really wanted to lash out at my friend, but decided that she wasn't worth it. Karma, fate or whatever you would like to call it usually takes care of things, so I left it, never spoke to her again, later on both her and her boyfriend became drug addicts. Nasty things happen to nasty people, the rest of us have to learn to rise above it.

I understand what you are going through, and sincerely hope you find peace with it soon, don't let this person change you from the trusting person you are, the world is still largely made up of good people.

Peace & Light

I wouldn't clean your windows,

But I wouldn't go through your stuff, or charge you for gas, 300 euro's is too much for two weeks gas, even at todays prices.

You might have higher standards of freshness then her, and perhaps the dogs bowl was an accident, but animals left without water is not good.

I would count your losses and ask someone else next time.

Always follow your gut feeling. it is usually right. I was in the same situation but when I came home one of my cats was dead, still in the cage, my 2 fish were dead. Yes it smelled really bad. I am sure you are right, you can tell if someone has looked through your things. Have you made sure nothing is missing? I would not let her babysit mt animals again.

u probably wont ever find out exactly what happened, but lesson learned, you know who not to call from now on. i would re-think who my best friends are, if that it, you dont need enemies right. as far as the money, that's up to you, pay to get her out of your hair and dont have to deal with calls and the bullshit that would come along with it, or stand your ground, and tell her why . I'm sry that this happened to you , best of luck

Get rid of the Harley and BMW.
They are so last season!
And try a crossbried between the chappies and the piggy. I should say the results may be groovy.

Obviously she didn't want to do anything, adn she went through your stuff. So she is nosy. Next time you go awayfind someone else to do the work,I would stay away from her if I were you.

Good friends are hard to find, put it down to experience,be friends and say thanks, but next time you go away ask someone else to look after things for you.
