She is clearly a very insecure bunny, which is quite sad really. I think you have two basic options:

1) Sit her down and tell her that you know she fabricates a lot of stuff and try to explain that she is your friend and therefore doesn't need to invent dramatics to get attention or sympathy. Point out her attributes and tell her what is about her that you and your other friends like, and ensure she knows that her friendship is valued. Try to raise her self esteem in order that she doesn't feel she has to invent horror stories to make herself more interesting. At the same time, point out that continuing to tell lies and exaggerating the truth will eventually lead to her friends not trusting her and wanting to spend less time with her.

2) If you feel she has no deep seated reason for this behaviour, extract yourself from her and concentrate on your other friends who don't subject you to a load of sick lies!

Good luck....

I even have had some somewhat undesirable reviews with a pathological liar. listed under are some issues i've got found out: she isn't a solid buddy to you. solid acquaintances would not misinform you continuously. What this gal is doing is exhibiting the utmost of desrespect for you, or perhaps (perhaps subconsciously) thinks you're an fool for how she will lie like loopy to you and there are no outcomes. Any attempt you're making at confronting her will purely bring about extra lies. Emm, you could desire to purely decrease all ties along with her, and gain this in the present day. you do no longer might desire to describe something to her because of the fact she will misinform make it look as in case you are the undesirable buddy, which you at the instant are not. in case you opt to examine my journey with a pathological liar, there's a weblog on my 360 dated January 4th of this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. that's complicated to diminish her off, i'm specific, yet once you do no longer, you will by no ability have faith her to tell the reality. It became organic evil with this gal who pretended to be my ultimate buddy. I felt like the worst fool interior the international. i'm hoping issues artwork out for you. you do no longer deserve that scientific care, and you do no longer owe her an evidence or something. Drop her like a warm potato and don't look back.

Well obviously this person is not a friend so I would just address her and say what I'm feeling inside(not too harsh )but something like:I'm sorry but this issue with your lying kinda bugs me and our friendship not growing its more like dying as the weeks go by I feel that I can't have a friend who constantly lies and still doesn't learn their lesson, but maybe we could start over and have a clean start at our friendship

Well that's difficult. My first thought be DUMP HER.
But as long as you like her company and you have fun, you can see her as JUST someone you;ll have a good laugh with period. But only as long as she's not hurting you personally, just tell her when a serious story is about to start, you don't want to hear it, as you can't tell if it's another story or a real life situation. If she acts hurt, tell her she must be joking, as (then you repeat a few lies)
she's the one telling you lies, so she has no right to claim you

Tell her she isn't a friend anymore and to leave you alone.. OR
every time she says anything laugh and say 'Ah another lie?'
If you do that for a few weeks she may get so sick of it she may quit.
She has to realize that once she has a reputation for lying, people will assume she lies always, regardless how meaningless a statement may be like 'Wanna go eat something?'

This person wants attention and these all sound like a cry for help with a larger issue that she can't come to terms with on her own. Maybe shunning her is not the right thing to do, but ask for proof whenever possible. best of luck.

she doesnt seem like a very trustworthy friend, you should either confront her and let her know all this or keep some of your close personal things to you, as those listed above are rather personal things.

Perhaps it's just a vivid imagination. She sounds fun to be around.

She's do-in that because she wants to fit in. Don't pay any attention to that. Maybe she doesn't get enough attention anywhere else.
