not sure what you mean by sweet, but you have 2 different bodies of water, they will not be the same, and depending on when the pool is treated with chemicals would make the difference also

Some pools are chlorinated, and others use salt (saline)
That might be why it tastes different.
It has nothing to do with the pool size.
