Hi, if you can, block up all small entry points with aluminium foil, but, I think they will still get through, food is their main priority, if they can't find any, they seek somewhere they can. So, the first thing is to make food scarce for them, plus traps, two kinds of basic mice.... house and field, field mice tend not to spend a lot of time trying to get into the premises, the other are a pain in the backside, and usually are found where waste and food are easy and plentiful. Generally, the breeding is around 6 weeks, and the young then can breed in around six weeks after birth, so you have to seriously interrupt this cycle, the only way I am afraid....... is by killing.

Get a pair of Pest Magic pest repellers from Price-Drop TV Sky channel 635.
They just plug in to a socket and emit an electro magnetic field around the whole house creating an environment that rodents and other pests such as spiders, silver fish, earwigs etc., cannot tolerate.

The permanent and humane solution is to block up all the holes so they can't get in.
This means getting behind all the furniture and kitchen units, and looking at where pipes come through the walls etc., in other words all the possibilities.
Use filler or builder's foam to fill the holes.

I had some of those electronic things and they didn't work for me but i heard through a health food store that if you use OIL OF PEPPERMINT from a health food store put it on some cotton balls and leave them where you see the mice it will run them out. But it has to be from the health food store not grocery store there are two different kinds.

My cats love mice, unfortunately they love me too and leave the corpses by my door as presents. Cats are good for catching mice but a professional pest control firm is your best method of ridding yourself of this menace

You should probably get a reliable pest control service. We tried what you were doing for WEEKS, and still the little pests gnawed and consumed anything they could. Eventually we called a local pest control service, and they came in, and we havent seen a mouse since. (much to the dissapointment of our cats)

Somwhere near you is a poor unemployed cat who would jump at the chance to be a loving part of your family and would rapidly rid your residence of rude rodents. Call your local animal shelter and ask about adopting a kitty.

buy an electronic mouse deterrent. I know it sounds ridiculous but this is the only thing which worked for us. It just sits in a plug and emits a sound which we (and our dog) cant hear but we have never had a mouse since.
