ok my Ipod was connected to the itunes and it was charging and all. Once it was done charging, all my songs were gone. There were about 200 songs. IS IT ON MY COMPUTER?! How can i get them back??!!!

i checked the trash bin, theres nothing in there. my songs are still on itunes but i had all these songs i had put on my Ipod when i was at other peoples house!!

when it says DO NOT DISCONNECT at the top.w8 for it to turn off and it says.ipod update is complete ok to diconnect.if you went to a friends house that ahd itunes and it waz his/hers ipod you would get all of his/hers songs.

Did you eject the iPod before you removed it? Your songs should still be on your computer. Open iTunes and look at your Library. Just dock the iPod, let it download, eject it, wait until the "Do Not Disconnect" screen comes off, then disconnect it. You should be just fine.

this happened 2 me, except i have a nano. they should be on itunes, and u can re transfer them. if not, check ur trash can/recycle bin.
