I don't have an Ipod, but I borrowed the CD from my brother and installed it on my laptop. Can I burn songs using this program? Or, is this program only to be used for downloading songs onto your Ipod?

iTunes is a music library on your computer where you can organize, burn CDs and download music to your iPod, you can browse the iTunes music store and download songs from there, you can also burn purchased songs to CD. Are you talking about iTunes??

If so yes, you can download songs from the Music Store and burn them to a CD. Also you can add other music your already have on the hard drive by dragging the folder to the iTunes library.
