the mississippi river is way longer. it's the 3rd longest in the world, and the missouri is like 5 or 6.

It depends on what is counted as an official part of the Mississippi, and who's doing the measuring. The Missouri is one of the tributaries of the Mississippi, so if it's counted, than the Mississippi is longer.
