Will a vote of non confidence just make you mad that we are back at the polls ? Does Layton stand a chance - Ontario looks like it might swing to NDP - just look at how many seats are NDP in Toronto ............Who is the Liberal leader anyway ?

I don't think the Mulrroney closeness with Regan and the Harper Bush thing will be missed by Canadian voters at all.

Do you think the Sun calling the liberals fiberals will make any impact .............

I do not think most Canadians like the chuminess with Bush and Harper...we can keep cordial ties without being puppets or buddy buddy. There is no true Liberal leader right now (leadership race is on) Graham is the current interm leader right now. Ontario while traditionally liberal has a had a real split. Should be interesting when the Liberal Party makes it choice for leader...especially if Bob Rae wins (ex NDP Premier of Ontario)

More-than-likely if Harper loses it will be Liberals that take over. This is according to the polls I saw about a month ago though so I am not sure if the NDP has gained. In fact I would be shocked if they gained because I don't think Canada wants to go that far left at this time.

Anyone who didn't see Harper for what he was shouldn't be allowed to vote. Then again a separatist group has been given a party in Canada (Bloc) and in a real country that's treason. We also have no options in this country, so what is the point in voting, we just vote for the guy who will at least give us lube when the screws us.
Just like the States, this country is going down the drains and no one cares.

Bite your tongue asking if the next government will be Liberal. After 13 years of their rule, what can your say they accomplished? Well, higher taxes maybe. Now let's compare, Harper has been in for about 7 months, hmmm, what has he done; brokered a deal on softwood lumber, introduced a $1,200 dollar per year (per child 6 and under to all Canadian families), compensated the Hep "C" victims, apologized to Japanese Canadians (and compensated) for the Head Tax.....shall I go on?

Liberal? Do you mean Democrat? Because only 23% of the democratic party are liberals.

Oh nevermind, you are talking about Canada.
