There are these two freshmen girls in this class that i'm a teacher's assistant in, and i'm a junior. Well when i walk by them they'll stare at me and stuff and one of them has the same lunch wave with me and i'll catch her staring at me sometimes. Then i'll say something trying to be funny and they'll be the only ones to laugh. One day, i was sitting at the teacher's desk in the front of the room and they both came up to me to ask for one hole puncher and then they started giggling and one of them went to sit down while the other one waited for the hole punch. Are they flirting or what?..and i wonder why both of them would come up to the desk just to ask for one hole puncher..oh yeah and only one of them used it:S

Yes this is definetly flirting.........the staring kind of gives it away. At this age that is very normal behavior. About both of them coming up to the desk to ask for the hole puncher, well probably the one who is interested, got the other one to go with her, maybe because she was not brave enough to come up there alone. Now the only thing is you need to figure out which one is the one interested.......

Seems like flirting to me. The girl that used it probably just asked her friend to come along to give her some moral support. The hole puncher was prolly just an excuse, too.

They are interested...

And you being a "junior" makes you more interesting to them as you have the 'teachers ear', so they may think that dating you will some how get them a good grade or a better position in class...

Make sure they are interested in you, instead of your position.

I wish you well..

I'd say yes. I was also a teaching assistant, so I'd also say this: take it as a compliment, bask in the nice feeling it is to be found attractive by somone, but don't act on it. (Unless you're ready to give up your position).

It sure wouldn't be unusual if they were flirting. Don't you know
that is what girls do?? Don't take it serious tho. They probably do
that with a lot of males!!

i guess u would call it flirting to the best of their 14 year old abilities. childish but i guess its still a flirt. and one of them likes u and the other was just there for support.

They are flirting with you...they think your older and cool...hopefully, you don't pursue it..just let them giggle and you go on your way...
