My boyfriend and I have 3 kids all together. He is an awsome dad and a great boyfriend he is there for me and my son and daughter. He has a really hard time waking up once he is sleeping which means I am the one who has to wake up with the kids at all hours of the night. The only time he seems to be able to get up is if his daughter from a previous relationship spends the night. What do I do about this? I am exausted!!!

I WENT THROUGH THE SAME THING WITH MY HUSBAND WHEN BEFORE WE GOT MARRIED.
I WAS HONEST WITH HIM AND CAME STRAIGHT OUT WITH IT. I TOLD HIM THAT I THOUGHT IT WAS REALLY MESSED UP THAT I HAD TO DO ALL THE NIGHT SHIFT PARENTING BUT WHEN HIS DAUGHTER WAS OVER HE WOKE UP WITH HER. I TOLD HIM THAT I WAS TIRED OF ALWAYS BEING THE ONE GETTING UP WITH OUR CHILDREN. HE SIMPLY TOLD ME THAT HE THOUGHT HE DIDN'T WAKE TO OUR KIDS BECAUSE HE NEW THAT I WAS GOING TO HEAR THEM. HE TOLD ME TO WAKE HIM UP IF I WAS TOO TIRED. I DID. AND IN A MATTER OF WEEKS.

You can't be this naive. He gets up for his daughter because he feels responsible and knows you won't. What does that tell you. It's also amazing that you guys have 3 kids and live together and can't get married because that might be too much of a commitment.

Dont' be clueless. Stop acting the victim and get his lazy *** out of bed. It's not hard to see what's up.

Tell him how you feel. Then, make sure you put the baby monitor on his side of the bed and make it loud. Don't get up no matter how long the kids cry - wait for him to get up or shake him a little bit to get him up.

Sounds like selective hearing. Does he work long hours? Maybe he is not so awesome ...if he treats your children different then his.
Do you think living together is a good example of commitment to the children?

HI,

IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT AFTER THREE KIDS YOU ARE STILL CONSIDERING YOUR PARTNER AS A BOYFRIEND. IN MY OPINION, IF HE LOVES AND APPRECIATES YOU, THERE SHOULD BE A FORMALISATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP. THAT SIGNIFYS ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITIES WHICH OF COURSE INCLUDES LOOKING AFTER YOUR KIDS.

WHAT I WILL DO?, ILL PRAY FOR GOD TO OPEN THE EYE OF YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND GIVE YOU WISDOM AND WILL. GOD HATES A DOUBLE MINDED PERSON.

I WISH YOU GODS GUIDANCE.

REGARDS

Dump him, he loves his "original" kid more, and your kids he thinks can "go to hell"
