If you could achieve immortality, would you?

Eventually though you would find no more reason to live, i mean you outlive the ones you love, you have to see them all die before you, you eventually see and experience everything and you constantly question what death must be like.

I would not necessarily want to achieve immortality so much as I would like to be able to say "ok I am ready to die now, take me" and then die. There are some things that I believe are going to happen and I would love to live long enough to see them and see them play out even though i know the ending.

No! Not that I want to die, but - I have always said -- With all of the total Injustices in this World and in this Life - What could be worse than Living on this Earth Forever-?? Innocent people often suffer, and 'Guilty' people often get no penalty whatsoever-!! That is not a 'negative' statement - it is just what you see when you see what goes on!
