I have enough brains and guts so therefore i am too smart to be the next President. I don't have the funds and resources i would like to have but i make do with what i have and i share it widely. I give back to my friends, neighbors, schools,colleges and other organizations. Do you? Every little bit helps.

To become President of this country does not require any of the things you mention. It is who you know, not what you know. Funds are easily obtained once you show an agenda that is pro-war and pro-Israeli, ask AIPAC. Guts, well, our current president has none, or else he would stand up for what was right. Resources you need I guess.

Yes. What the presidency needs is someone with more centrist views. We've seen the excesses from Clinton and Bush, now we need someone who can balance things a little better.
So, yeah, I would run.
Domestic Platform:
*Repeal the Patriot Act (McCarthyism, anyone?)
*Boost funding to NASA. It's the best source of new tech in existence. New tech means new businesses, and thus new jobs.
*Reduce taxes on lower-income families, raise 'em on the rich.
*Filling your Cabinet with like-minded appointees is great for your ego, and bad for an open mind. Differing opinions lead to better ideas.
*Eliminate all subsidies and federal contracts to corporations that outsource over 25% of their operations.
*Increase funding for military wages.
Foreign Policy platform:
*Not talking to one's enemies is not trying hard enough.
*Waffling on what to do about those Iran and North Korea nukes is gutless. Go big, or don't go. Eliminate their production facilities, and then sit down to talk afterwards. No 2nd, 3rd,16th or 17th chances.
*The US must be trusted. That means we do what we say we'll do, and we state our intentions clearly.
*Elimination of Guantanamo as a detainment facility, and ANY OTHER SIMILAR FACILITIES. If we can't get answers to our questions in the first couple of weeks, we aren't gonna get em at all. Send them home or charge them.
*Codicil to previous position: "We hold these truths to be self-evident-That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; that, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness."
--I have to say, when we violate the civil rights of others, we are ALL diminished.
*As a libertarian Republican, I believe we should promote individual rights around the world, AND IN THIS COUNTRY. Elimination of the domestic wiretap program is essential and just. Elimination of discrimination against women and minorities, based on religion or any other principles, is necessary and just.
Outrage is a good thing. It leads to change for the better.
Outrage over change is usually pointless. Change happens, whether fundamentalists like it or not.

There's a reason no intelligent person is president nowadays. The smartest of the smart know a good occupation from a bad.
That job... is a hard job... It's hard to be a good president.. you have a country on your shoulders. I think we forget that sometimes.

Never. If I had the money I would spend it enjoying life rather than take a job where you get criticized harshly no matter what you do.

Sure I would. It's a hard, unrewarding job, but I'd feel most comfortable if I was doing it. I have a lot I'd like to change. :)
