I appreciate dancers, as it takes hours of practice to make it look effortless on stage. And the physical pain they endure for their art; WOW!!! I love ballet, and just about any form of dance there is. Favorite dancers: Mikhail Baryshnikov (ballet), Gene Kelly (tap), the late Gregory Hines (tap) quickly come to mind.

Well, since I'm a dancer, I obviously appreciate them. All dancers work VERY hard to get to higher levels, and the dance world is so competitive that only the best get picked. You're always striving to be the best, but disappointment is also part of the package. Dance teaches so many lessons and it's such a graceful art one can hardly help but appreciate the people who put the time into it. In this, I'm not really talking about myself so much as the real dancers: Anna Pavlova, Nijinsky,George Balanchine ( who was also an amazing choreographer), Marie Taglioni, Mikhail Baryshnikov, etc. I think the world would be lost without this beautiful art form.

Give your ten points to someone else, I want to talk about dancers!
I certainly do appreciate dancers. I've worked with dancers in New York, Boston, Los Angeles and Hong Kong. And I've worked with dancers from all over the world.
Dance has let me travel so many places I'd never have gone.
Dancers are great. They rarely have race issues, are up on the latest dances and music and are generous with their time -- in hours of rehearsal!
I have known dancers who went on to dance for Janet Jackson, become magazine editors, teach at the university and more than a few who've become waitresses by day- dancers by night!
My first boss in dance danced for Ruth St. Denis, Martha Graham and Alvin Ailey -- how is that for lineage?
Over time, I've come to love balinese, African and Javanese dancing. I like ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop and swing.
Dance has been my life for twenty years -- my job, my art, my writing, my friends and my love.
My boss flew me to NYC from Los Angeles (about ten years ago) so I could see Saivon Glover in Bring on the Funk, Bring on the Noise on Broadway -- all expenses paid!
All this typing, maybe I want my ten points after all.
Good dancers?
Here's a few I like....
Michael Jackson
Paul Taylor
Saivon Glover
The Nicholas Brothers
Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson
Martha Graham
Fred Astaire
Loie Fuller
Cyd Charisse
Bob Fosse
and on and on, the world IS dance, isn't it?

I think that dancers are not only the some of the sexiest people in the world, but they are graceful, beautiful, confident, strong almost perfect beings that are from another world. They aren't scared to show thier emotions:their pain, happiness, grief, longing....they are unique and artistic.Peolple like Alvin Ailey , Christopher Huggins,Edgar Page,Martha Grahm, Harvey Edwards and many others have changed the world today and have made me love the art of dance even more. I love them and i am one.

I consider myself a dancer, so I can tell you that I like dancers and appreciate them. I'm particularly grateful to my teachers for teaching me this art.
I think dancing is a language and dancers are the ones who can speak it.
Good dancers in Ballet: Michael Baryshnikov, Maya Plisetskaya, Anna Pavlova.
Good dancers in Ballroom: Brian Watson, Louis Van Amstel. Have you ever seen a ballroom/latin dancer up close? They are just hottt.

I am the mother of a ballerina. Discipline, hard work and perseverance are the key to success.
I also admire ballet male dancers. I think they have perfect bodies and that they can be very beautiful and sensuous. They are very strong and at the same time very lyrical in their movements
Excellent dancers:
Alicia Alonso, Nijinsky, Maria Tallchief, Isadora Duncan,
Baryshnikov, Fernando Bujones, Merce Cunningham, Pina Baush, and many more that escape my mind
