this year i actually have money for a good gift
shes turning 50 , i want to get her a good gift
im thinking hallmark...any ideas

What kind of things does she like?? You could get her a ring with her birthstone, a Mother's ring, a bracelet with "I love You". A plaque from like a Hallmark with to Mother from Daughter. Does she collect anything? Does she have certain hobbies. Does she need new PJ's a robe. Take her out to dinner and have them sing to her. Have a few friends meet you their. New bed-spread. A sewing machine, new cook pans, new washing machine or dryer. Jewelery Box. Hope it helps. Good Luck!!!

Why don't you just take her out to have lunch and then let her decide on her own at the best store you can imagine or afford?
That, of course, besides whatever you choose from hallmark.

if you have the money - go one better and do a 50th bday scrapbook. get an 8x8 scrapbook and just plain paper (you should be able to get both at michaels or joanns) then have all of your family (and any of her friends you can contact without her knowing) take pictures with dorky 50th party hats and write a message. my oldest sister did it for our mom and she loved it!

Maybe take her out for a day/night out on the town. Give her a day that is all for her. What she wants to do and have fun.
