Being the owner of a fine Glasgow accent, I think its wonderful. The tone of a word in Glaswegian can tell so much!
Not the neddy accent though. Glaswegians like most Scots are excellent speakers, hence the reason why many multi nationals choose Glasgow as the location of their call centres.

i am from Aberdeen , i think the Glasgow accent can be a bit harsh , people say the Aberdeen accent is really a soft sounding accent ,unless you come from some of the area's just outside Aberdeen, eg inverurie , or some people from peterhead and then it sound like a totally different language

I think it's lovely and sexy.

Why do you think we have Glasgowegians voices for customer services? Because it's been surveyed that people find the accent trusting and approachable.

Yeah, keep it!

Please don't hate me but I really don't like the Scottish accent...also I can't understand a word. I'm rather more partial to the Southern accent. I'm sure if you moved your accent would become softer and an accent doesn't reflect the person xx

I spoke to a girl from Glasgy way recently, that I'd been talking to on net. Although I had my ears turned up to full speed, I still had to ask her to talk slower! ..... Accents are great, just a little hard for us slow southern softies to understand, sometimes. :-)
