Why not and I think you should include your ex-girlfriend on the deal. Do you think the three of you would make a good relationship?
Seriously, maybe you should ask your friend how she feels about this.. IF you are really that concerned about her feelings. If she doesn't care or doesn't want to care anymore, she will say go ahead. If she still cares, well then you have to decide between having her as a friend (with him as just a friend), or having him as a boyfriend.
Good luck and stay fast,

Why go 4 seconds?
Girlfriends ex-boyfriends were always off limits 2 me.
& I didn't want 2 B part of his sly plan at getting back at my friend by going out with me.
Walk away unless of course he's a millionaires son, that might B worth making allowances 4.
:)

Where is the loyalty. If she's your best friend, then he's off limits. The fact that you are even asking this question makes me wonder if she really is your best friend. Just know, if you go out with her ex, the friendship will die a violent death.

Guys come and go but girlfriends are the ones who are really there for you in good times and bad. Never risk a friendship with a girlfriend by letting a guy come between you.

usually best friends exboyfriends are OFF LIMITS... but i think you should discuss it with your best friend first, and she if she is positivly okay with it. make sure she isnt just saying, "oh yah whatever".. cuz she may still like him. if they just broke up, then definitley no. but if its been some time, and ur best friend is totally fine with it, then say yes if u truly like him.

It would not be a wise decision if you value the friendship.Your better off if you turn him down. This is the exact reason I prefer male friends.
Men come and go, friends are suppose to be forever.

NO! There is no explanation necessary. THE #1 rule of best friends is you do NOT date, flirt with, sex with, fool around with, your best friends girl/boy CURRENT or EX EVER.
Unless of course , you want to lose your best friend.

i wouldn't b/c that is your best friends ex that is a big time no no and i think deep down you know better. how would you tell your friend and i bet she will not be happy. that would make you her ex friend and i am sure you don't want that to happen if you are truly a friend.

well, if you like the guy then go for it...but i would ask your friend first....the same thing happened to me...i'm goin out with my best friend's ex-boyfriend...if she says okay, then go for it!!!! but if not, try sharing your opinion on how you feel bout the guy...if they are ex's, then obviously they didn't connect....some people say that you should never date your friends' exs....but what i think is that if you like someone, it shouldn't matter.....after all, they are EXS!!!! good luck with that!!! :)
