probably world of warcraft. a lot of people say they don't like it, but thats because they like to be the unique exception to the rule. blizzard has the absolute best track record for games in the history of the earth, and no creative work that i can think of has been such a collaboration of so many people and resources. no game has ever been so deep while being so approachable. even if you hate w.o.w., keep in mind that 6 million people are currently playing it regularly. thats much more than all other games combined. even people who absolutely loathe it or are tired of it usually agree that some of the screenshots of the game are graphicly speaking, masterpieces.

Depends. For multiplayer fun, I would say James Bond, Nightfire. I have had the most awesome nights with my friends playing that game, and verbally abusing them lol. For single player, I have had the most fun playing the Jak & Daxter games on ps2.
