You can't really put a number as to the odds of this happening. The reason being is because there are way too many variables involved. I have seen people thrown from a vehicle going 70mph+ and smash the back of their skull open on a rock and live. Then there are those that get hit in the head with nothing more than a persons fist and die from a subdural hematoma. Just luck of the draw I guess.

My mom accidentally got hit with a bat right above her eye while playing baseball with some friends in the backyard when she was a kid. She had to get some stitches. It would depend on several things namely how hard you got hit and where you got hit.

I got hit in the nose with a bat, I was 17 or so! If he wanted to I'd be inhaling out the back of my head!

I guess it would depend on where the person got hit and how hard they got hit.
