at the restuarant where i work, there's this mexican man who keeps on staring at me when i walk in, i don't know what to do, so i just wave. there are two more mexican men who aren't this friendly. when i walk by, he's always saying, "chiquita, mamasita, ayayayayay" and a bunch of other stuff in spanish that i don't understand. it's so creepy since i'm 18 and he's like 35. true, i'm flattered, but i'd really rather he didn't. am i wrong to think this?

If it feels creepy, it is creepy. Always go with your gut feeling. No you are not wrong to feel this way.

You are thinking politically correct, something that is very destructive in that it is setting you up. You are 18 and you have a boss, stand up for yourself and tell him to tell the customer that he cannot make the workplace uncomfortable for you or you can sue. If the boss does not protect you, you can sue him. If you are working in a dump, get out. And, to feel flattered is wrong. You are - or were - last year, jail bait. Get some self respect and stand up for yourself. What if he was 22 and cute as hell. You would be sending all the wrong signals and bad times would be ahead. Stop being a wimp.

no pal you are not wrong, my respects, cause u deserve it; it as you are respecting yourself in my point of view as you didn't want to do wrong but u respect yourself, yourself maybe give you this demand within you: as to turn your face and not talk anymore to those guise...cause you're not playing around with them...take care of saying hello in this world, but if u know them, as known customers, just in your polite way indicate in talking to them that u don't like it anymore...cause they'll keep doing it. For example, u can just indicate formality which is not harsh or boring indeed, its good sometimes to be formal and limit things :) good luck

If it makes you uncomfortable, say something, or in this case, find someone to say it for you who speaks Spanish. He may mean no harm, but If it creeps you out, you shouldn't have to put up with it.

No it isnt wrong for you to think like this. People have there different ways of telling you, you are beautiful and that is what he is saying. I dont think he means to offend you he just wants you to know you are pretty. All mexcians are like this they just love woman period. Dont take it to harsh just speak and be nice just as long as he doesnt try to touch you and get out of hand.

For the one's that bother you, tell them outright that they are not your type, you are looking for a man with class and style.

It's up to you. No one can tell you what you should think or do.
