No Darth Vader is a fictional character in the famous Star Wars Saga..however there are certain overtures in the final episode that definitely elude to a similar military mind set..so I understand your inference.

I do not think Rumsfeld will quit nor be fired as long as Bush is Pres.If the Republicans do bad in up coming elections they may lick their wounds and make changes brfore the 2008 elections.
