How can I get my book published with Scholastic?
I am writing a book, and I was wondering how I could get it published with Scholastic. Do you know any way I can?

I would recommend getting a literary agent. That's the only way to get something published. There are too many aspiring writers out there for any publisher to be able to sift through it all.
First you will need to research agencies. There is a book published every year, conveniently titled "Guide to Literary Agents."

It will tell you what kind of work each agent represents.
Your next step will be to send inquiry letters to agencies. What you send will depend on the agency. You should probably prepare a book proposal, since most agents will not want to read your entire book right away.
It is hard to get an agent. But once you get one, he or she will send your work to Scholastic, or whoever else the agent thinks might like to publish it.

Send them a letter detailing what your book's about and give them a small sample of its content.
