Its just a storyline folks.. I seriously think *some* of you think:
1. Wrestling is infact real, everything they do is true
2. Lita and Edge are a real couple
3. He cheats cuz he has to, or he wouldnt win
Fact, wrestling stories are scripted, they do what they are told unless Vince gives them a level of creative freedom, someone like Undertaker or HHH probably has this level w/ Vince.
Secondly, Edge and Lita are not a couple, have never been a couple, and will not be one in the future.
Edge cheats to win becuase that is the common heel factor, heels cheat, its part of thier "role" as a heel. You guys love to hate Edge? Edge has then done a good job at what he does.
Get a grip people, its just character development. Edge's character from 2003-2006 has certainly improved due to how much heat he gets.. he wins no matter how much you people whine and cry that Cena isnt champ cuz he cheated.

2. More than just HHH has creative freedom to an extent, read the rest of the sentence before acting like you know what youre saying.
3. Edge gets cheers, i.e. puts asses in seats, sure not like Hogan can, but alas, he does.

Just a few comments -
1.I am aware that it's scripted (which makes me a "smark").
2.Edge & Lita ARE a couple,outside the confines of The WWE;
Litas contract is due to expire at the end of this year,and she is
leaving the WWE,which is why she was given a 3rd Womens
Title reign.
3.Triple H's "Creative Freedom",as you called it,stems from the
fact that he is Vinces son-in-law ,by way of his marriage to
Stephanie.
4.Sure,Edge cheats to win;that's what a heel does best...But that
doesn't change the fact that Edge doesn't put asses in seats
(to steal a line from Foley),or sell merchandise like Cena does.
5.The fans boo the Hell outta Cena because he uses the same
move set every time in his matches...SO??? No one says
anything about Hogan,The Rock,Undertaker,etc when they
do the same move set over & over,so what's the diff?
6.Finally,as for Edges character development:I don't see whiny,
bitchy & opportunistic as anything positive;as much as they
try to hang the villian tag on him,it doesn't suit him...he tries
way too hard at being da bad guy,& the crowd despises him
for it.
