I don't pity any man who does hard work worth doing. I admire him. I pity the creature who does not work, at whichever end of the social scale he may regard himself as being.

Back when I was driving Big-rigs it was, "Your fifth-wheel is flat!"
Another from the era was, "When you're REALLY a SKILLED Driver you can drive them four at a time!!!" This was the answer I gave to drivers driving tractor-tailers who teased me about my piggy-backs "mating". Piggy-backs are just the tractor part of the big rig that are stacked up to four and go down the road like a train.

St. Peter, don't ya call me, I just can't go, I owe my soul to the company store.

"This and the line 'I owe my soul to the company store' is a reference to the truck system and to debt bondage. Under this system workers were not paid cash; rather they were paid with unexchangeable credit vouchers for goods at the company store (usually referred to as scrip). This made it impossible for workers to store up cash savings. Workers also usually lived in company-owned dormitories or apartment buildings, the rent for which was automatically deducted from their pay."

I make miracles happen
Just from rappin'
I'm so lyrically potent
And I'm flowin'
And explodin'
