i am single and it seems no matter where igo older men seem to be the only one that talk to me.for oncei wish that someone that was more my age i get upset about this becouse i feel like ther is something wrong with me.how do i get younger people more my age to notice me?

There is nothing wrong with you. It is a problem with the older men. Their eyes are bigger than their you know what. Older men hit on younger women because they still think they are much younger than they are. It is the way of the world. If they can get a younger girl then they think they are more virile. They will pay for everything but it probably isn't worth it because they are most likely married and have kids too.
Now, as for the younger guys, they probably have so many girls throwing themselves at them (young and old) that they are sick of it. Just always look nice - not raunchy - most younger guys that are worth anything want a girl who looks like fun and has some intelligence - not just free-swinging rearends. Also, the younger guys are making less money and don't have a lot of extra money to spend on a girl most of the time and they still are into hanging out with guys for sports and games. Go places that attract younger, decent men - sports events, late night grocery store, church, camara club, etc. Don't go with huge groups of other girls. That's intimidating and makes it hard for you to stick out in the crowd. Go with only 1 friend, if you can. Don't act all silly and gossipy, either. Do things that interest you that will make you more attractive to the guy you want to attract. Write down a list of really cheap, cool dates that you can imagine so when you meet a guy and he asks if you would like to do something, mention one of those things on your list. He will keep calling to go out if you don't cost him his entire paycheck. Be imaginative, witty, but most of all, LISTEN TO HIM TALK and ask questions about him that are thoughtful. Men of all ages are most interested in talking about themselves. If he mentions a hobby or interest he has, study up on it so when he calls you can ask intelligent questions about it. Also, never run down other people to him or talk about your problems. This will chase off a man faster than anything. Men want to solve problems, but they really don't want that commitment with a girl right away. If you are too needy, they will bail.
By the time you are 30 it will all come together. I am 54, but I was divorced and single when I was your age and nothing really changes except the hairstyles and clothes people wear. You can get noticed by the right guys by appearing open and safe and interesting. If you aren't acting your age, start, and see what a difference it makes. Mostly, have lots of fun. You are at the best age of your life.

I'm 38 years old, and it seems only young girls are interested in me. The last thing I need is to be surrounded by girls half my age, when the right one comes along. Society seems to think that's the way to go, and it makes it tougher on those of us that would like to date in our own age range.

Mature looks may be. Old are not bad. Try dressing young. Sure way to get noticed.

i feel the same way, it seems like only the old farts appreciate my beauty, i am 31 years old not a Senior citizen....but good news, i was hit on the other day by a 23 year old hottie....there is hope

who cares about the age, but if you want to get the attention of a younger group go where they are...colleges,coffee shops, bookstores, clubs, fitness centers and things like that. have fun.
