You are not an average student. You are also not unlucky. You please learn to count your blessings. Believe in yourself and your capabilities. By God's grace, you will be settled in a nice manner far higher than what you expect.
Cannot you see god's blessings in your life as >>>
# You have affectionate parents trying hard to support you.
# You could compete and get admission in respectable stream of engineering.
# Your course of B.Tech almost complete ( You know many students could not finish due to health or other problems)
# Some students could get placements immediately - you could not. It is no point to be feel frustrated. You are completing graduation in good stream. Many of your10+2 classmates could hardly complete ordinary graduation courses of B.A./B.Com. You are far better than those. It is a matter of time. God has arranged suitable job for you and he will be sending you the offer soon but at appropriate time.
So you are lucky and above average.
Now after completing B.Tech, join MBA by distance learning. Meanwhile continue trying for jobs. MBA course is by distance learning so it will not hamper your job. If you pursue the course from IGNOU, it willbe less costly and easy to manage. Thus you will be able to increase your abilities. The website of IGNOU is www.ignou.ac.in
BEST OF LUCK

i am sure you are an indian , only india , russia and china has an army of engineers, the sad part is that only1/5th are employed (karnataka).
On the brighter side I am an indian like you , I had a modest start in a call center , which is not rel.to eng/mgmt , then after getting promoted real fast to some levels up. I quit my job and I am doing MBA in germany
my advice dont lose heart , just make sure that you join a booming sector in India, once you save enough money then you have to do an MBA there are a billion engineers in this country.
it sounds tough but trust me isnt infact its better for engineers in the comning years in india becuase the production and industries are going to grow in the country. so keep your head up and relax

don't worry. whatever happens always happens for the good. u try searching for jobs rather than ur parents so that u understand where u r lacking in ur iterviews and then you can improve. if still ur parents search u a job then u wud either not get one or that would not last for long as it is your job to find a job on your own will and not your parents. i know i sound rude but thats what the fact is.
