a 25 Eastern Star pin is given to the Sister who has paid dues and been a member of The Star for 25 years in a row. this is also known as the Silver award as silver represents 25 years. It may not mean anything to a non-member because no one other than a member of the Star should wear it. suggest youcontact the local Masonic Lodge and see if they can help you return it to the rightful owner. you might even check out the Star and see if you would like to join. if you are interested and to young consider the rainbow girls or jobs daughters. we need all the fine young people we can get to carry on our traditions. am a 4 time past master and life member of the Masonic Fraternity. thank you and good luck.

Eastern Star is a social order comprised of persons with spiritual values but it is not a religion. Its appeal rests in the true beauty of the refreshing and character-building lessons that are so sincerely portrayed in its ritualistic work. A deep fraternal bond exists between its members. It is the wholesome relationship of sisterly and brotherly love brought about through high principles exemplified in our lives which makes us near and dear to each other.
It's worth about 10 bucks.
