Looks a bit like a Macaque but the face is the wrong colour, maybe it's the same family. Face looks too flat to be a porcupine.

in the previous it shows indications of ailment, it is almost impossible to be responsive to. If a canines gets right into a combat with a raccoon, and you notice the combat, then you certainly could desire to get it examined. i've got run during consistent with danger 10 animals interior the final 2 many years that have acted "humorous" whilst i grew to become into out looking. I even have reported each and every person of the incidents, and each and every time i grew to become into advised they possibly had distemper and have been in no way examined. i grew to become into advised via regulation enforcement to shoot the animal in question and bury it. Animals with rabies do not run around attempting to chew human beings or different animals. Animals with rabies do be afflicted by terrible eyesight. That motives different animals to get close using fact the contaminated animal won't be in a position to work out it coming. as quickly because it is close, the contaminated animal each and every each and every now and then with chew in self protection of a few thing being close.

That is a North American porcupine, Erethizon dorsatum. It's a member of family Erethizontidae, which also includes the South American porcupines in genus Coendou, Sphiggurus and Echinoprocta.

Cute, aren't they?

Here's more information:

They're rodents, like their African counterparts (genus Hystrix), but they're mostly tree-dwellers instead of terrestrial.

And they're very different from the hedgehogs, which also have quills but are Insectivores.
