Ya it is okay if a girl asks a guy out. He's just a guy and your just a girl. There's no problem with it but good luck most girls are scared to ask a guy out.

I think it's worth waiting for a guy to ask you out. I think the guy should be man enough to pursue a woman he is interested in. But it might be necessary to let him know you like him but in the end let him ask you out. It will define your relationship. Don't get stuck with a wimpy unmotivated guy.
