Perfect strangers paid me compliments. My husband on the other hand never said anything at all. The only person I wanted a compliment from was him. We have been together 19yrs. Is the passion gone or what?

No unfortunately men can be stupid at times.. im sure you've heard alot of women complain that they go and color their hair or try a new hair cut , dont mention it to their husbands, the husbands come home and then they kiss their wives and not even notice... because they have forgotten to take notice.. men that have been married awhile tend to become so comfortable in their life they forget that they once wooed that woman and the reason she chose to be with him is because of how he made her feel.. cause we definately didnt choose our men cause they fart in bed and leave the toilet seat up lol.. Girl, let him be an idiot.. when ur looking so damn good like u were, and others , especially guys , start complimenting u.. he'll take notice, he may not show it to u, but he'll be getting jealous when men start looking ur way.. so keep doing what makes u feel good about yourself, men unfortunately are slow to catch on, but evenutally he will .......once he see's that other men are taking notice...

I've been with my husband for 15yrs and the passion isnt gone but the compliments are ...His answer for this is you know you look good why do i have to tell you it.. So with that being said maybe youre husband knows you look good so why would he have to tell you it after all these years. Even though we like to hear it they often say it!!!!!:)

He should have told you that you looked good. I do know how you feel. Sometimes I think they just don't think to say nice things, especially after 19 years. Tell him how he made you feel - hopefully that will get the point across to him!

so what. i'm sure he would like a compliment from you every once in a while too. the point being, you don't live up to all of his expectations so don't be mad when he falls short one time.

sorry to here that.i've been married for 18 yrs and my wife hates it when i try to compliment her all the time. but we still have the best sex we ever had. i pay more attention to her now than ever. the more i love the less she wants so i dont know what to tell you
