I emailed him a couple times n he keeps sayn it is real n to give it a shot, and i actually got a booking request to audition for a reality show. Should i ignore it or wat? I'm not sure but did you see the Tyra Banks show when she was saying how there are lots of fake modeling agency's out there I think it would be best to go to a top modeling company like ford modeling but if you have been booked for a reality show you should take it but oppurtunity's like that sometimes only come once in a lifetime maybe you should take it but on the Tyra show she said don't pay these agency's a penny if they want money they're fake.

If the agency is not asking for money from you before they find you work. I would ride the wave out a little longer. If they want you to fork over some cash, then maybe they are fake. I have heard that even some legit agencies have the model spring for her own glossies(head shots etc)but they do not exclude her to only use them or their sources. She can use whoever she wishes. So, they have no lock on making money off her. The ideal of the agency is to get you work because they receive a percent of the contract. I would ask this person to have a look at the contract. Because the devil is in the detail. They maybe doing a lot for you for free, but what is it going to cost you? Is it in the contract that they can have you dye your hair or cut it when it fits them, and you have no say? Does it have a clause that if you gain above a certain weight, you can be let go without further compensation? Details baby, details. But the 1st rule of thumb, if they want you to pay them money. Walk.

The first one could be for real. If you got an audition, it sounds like they are working for you. The tip off that an agency is a fake is when they ask for money. Don't ever pay them. They should earn their money from commissions from your work.
