Elves count as mystical animals right? If so, then yes i´d say an Elf. But if you mean a creature less human-like..then um, i would go with the Pheonix. :)

Dragons because they are portrayed as the incarnations of pride, leadership, power, honor. And angels(I'm not saying it's an animal but just mystical) they are my favorite.
